Terms of Service

The service

Botvee Crawler crawls publicly accessible websites you designate and returns extracted content to you. The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind.

Acceptable use

• Only crawl websites you are permitted to access. You are responsible for complying with each target site's terms and applicable law.
• Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, quotas, robots.txt handling or other safety controls.
• No crawling of illegal content, and no use of the service to harass, overload or attack any website.

Accounts & API keys

You are responsible for keeping your API key secret. Quotas are enforced per account. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

Content & retention

Crawled data belongs to you (subject to the rights of the crawled website) and is deleted 24 hours after crawl completion. We may remove content or refuse crawls at our discretion.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Botvee is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months (currently zero for free plans).

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the changelog. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
